Drew the last panel tonight. It takes up like half the page.

Writing the last few pages of this issue was like pulling teeth. I was asking all the wrong questions, questions Kaleja didn't want to answer. Finally I shut up and let her tell it the way she wanted.

By the time she got the words out, I realized she's not entirely sane.

Funny. She's been in there twenty years and I never knew.

Another productive inking day.

The nights were difficult. The ache in my muscles would fill my world, keeping me from sleep, or I would think of father and mother and be consumed by the ache in my heart.

Two weeks into my three week vacation, I've been cranking on the comic. It's really a race against time, to try and get it completed and printed in time for APE (November 1-2). In hope of speeding up my inking process, I bought a Wacom Cintiq 12WX tablet/display. It's completely awesome; since it arrived on Friday I've been able to ink 6 pages.

I could tell you more of the voyage than you would wish. I could tell you of the days that seemed as endless as the sea itself. I could tell you of weeks that flashed away like kindling.

Yahoo Games video preview

IGN coverage

“The trailer makes it seem as if Spider-Man met War of the Worlds and then they had a three way with Cloverfield. Then they had a baby named Awesome.”

So last night, I put on some tight clothes and some sexy boots and I went out, just like any normal young woman living in the city.

The next bit, driving into a bad neighborhood, putting on a mask, and sneaking into an abandoned warehouse, that's less normal, I'll grant you.

I give it a B-, maybe C+. Definitely not as good as the first two movies, definitely not what I was hoping for.

Too many storylines smooshed into too short a movie. Adaptation choices which were not true to the spirit of the source material.

This guy covers most of my complaints (warning: spoilers), and he's not even a fan of the original Claremont/Byrne arc.

Hella spoilers and fanboy criticism )
